Devlog #1 - a new hope

Labyrinth of Wrath is finally at a state where I'm able to start developing the content, and not just the systems surrounding it. This is a RPG where you are trying to escape a mysterious labyrinth you and your friend are suddenly prisoners of. You wake up after a long night of partying to find yourselves in a new world filled with interesting creatures.

They live in a sort of utopia where everything is provided to them, and no one has ever given how or why a second thought. There's always food, drink, good friends, and fun all the time. They only consume and celebrate. You become a part of this life. Since you cannot leave, you find a life among the monsters.

One day however, you wake up to a different state of the world. Suddenly everything is gone. Everything everyone held dear and enjoyed, vanished over night. This has a unique effect on all the labyrinthians, some react violently, some are in a state of shock. Many seek their fortunes, wondering where it went. Other's set off on a new adventure, into the Labyrinth. Those who do brave the unknown, and risk running into the fabled demon that walks the halls.

That's the main idea of the game anyways.

Right now I've come to a point where I have all the systems working, except the dialogue which broke when I finished the depth system.

This is just a little snippet of the character moving behind and in front of some NPC's as well as walls to give the game it's sense of depth.

I also have built a functioning inventory system

As well as started to handle the room transitioning in an effect.

I still need to develop a few core parts of the game, which are

1. The title screen

2. Save feature

3. combat interaction or something in lieu of it.

4. cut scenes

Follow me for all the updates because there's more coming soon!
